Job Summary:

The Construction Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing new and existing client relationships while providing accurate and competitive project estimates. This role requires strong sales expertise, combined with hands-on experience in construction estimating. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the construction industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored construction solutions.
• Prepare and present accurate project estimates, proposals, and bids.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for estimating.
• Work closely with project management and operations teams to ensure accurate cost estimation and project delivery.
• Negotiate and close sales contracts while ensuring profitability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing, and competitive landscape.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and report on sales activity regularly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction sales, with a focus on project estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with a results-oriented approach and strong business acumen.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and CRM systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in construction sales and estimating.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary of $35,000 to $45,000 (based on experience) plus commission.
