This exempt position involves supporting product development by resolving defects and addressing potential issues. Key responsibilities include evaluating production samples, overseeing the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), reviewing design and quality documentation, inspecting incoming materials, and improving product quality to enhance customer satisfaction. The role also involves coordinating equipment calibrations, performing tests with specialized instruments, and conducting process capability studies. Required competencies include knowledge of ISO 9001, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in quality control methods and tools. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience. Physical demands include prolonged desk work, dexterity, and occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs. The position is primarily office-based with occasional exposure to production areas.
