Process Technician

Salary: $24-$32/hr
Process Technician Job Summary:
An innovative and quality-focused plastics manufacturer in Grand Rapids is seeking Process Technicians for 1st shift. The company utilizes the latest technology and production equipment and is committed to consistently improving its manufacturing operations. Process Technician Requirements:
- Support production in the staging of tooling; minimize tool damage and wear
- Maintain efficiencies and support corrective/preventive actions efforts
- Provide machine set up and process support for all production processes
- Clean, stage, and tear down molds to meet production needs
- Work with maintenance and engineering
- Run sample parts and facilitate in establishing processes for new and transfer tooling projects
Schedule: 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday + overtime as needed
Pay: $24.00-$32.00/hr, based on experience + .75 shift premium
Process Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of processing experience in plastic injection molding
- Working knowledge of automation systems and equipment
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Ability to work overtime including weekends as needed
