A Manufacturing Company In Aurora Is Seeking A Skilled Spot Welder To Join Their Team!

 

The Spot Welder will be responsible for planning assembly layouts, spot welding, and assembling partial or complete assemblies based on drawings and specifications. This role involves working with prefabricated parts, sub-assemblies, purchased parts, and equipment to achieve prescribed tolerances. Additional tasks include sawing, filing, grinding, and packing completed assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute assembly layouts according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform spot welding operations to assemble partial or complete assemblies.
• Operate saws, drills, grinders, and spot welding equipment efficiently.
• Ensure all work meets production efficiency and quality standards.
• Use and read measuring instruments accurately to maintain product specifications.
• Perform sawing, filing, grinding, and packing as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong shop math skills.
• Experience operating saws, drills, grinders, and spot welding equipment.
• Knowledge of assembly and packaging procedures is preferred.
• Ability to maintain high production efficiency and quality standards.
• Competency in using and reading measuring instruments.
• Physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
