Salary: $19.00 - $20.00

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for Machine Operators with a company located in the Newberry area. These roles start at $16.00 hourly (day shift) and $17.00 hourly (night shift). Schedule is 2-2-3 production schedule, 12 hour shifts, and requires working every other weekend.  Overtime is available with this role!

 

The main duties of this position include:

-Collecting raw materials needed for production order

-Using overhead crane to maneuver materials between machines

-Loading all materials and setting machine for production

-Monitoring up to 15 machines during production process

-Addressing any operation errors with machines, troubleshooting to repair, and assisting maintenance as needed

-Using hand tools to load machines with material, test product being produced, etc.

-Loading all completing products on to carts using overhead crane and preparing to move to other production area

This role can involve lifting up to 40 lbs, working in humid and non-climate-controlled area.
