Staffing Specialist (Recruiter)

 

Express Employment Professionals in Taunton, MA is looking for a full-time Staffing Specialist (Recruiter) to find and place people at jobs in southeastern Massachusetts. The right candidate will be dynamic and fast-thinking, able to remember details, adapt on the fly, and follow through on job assignments. Hourly pay supplemented with generous commission.

Hours: Monday through Friday / 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Rate: $20 - $22 per hour plus commission

 

Staffing Specialist (Recruiter) Daily Responsibilities:

 

·         Conduct in-person interviews with prospective associates, assess their skills, and evaluate qualifications

·         Assist with electronic onboarding process and required background testing including drug screens and criminal database searches

·         Use proprietary software to record information and search desired skill sets to match open positions

·         Market associates’ skills to existing and prospective client company hiring managers

·         Follow established protocol for managing and documenting frequently updated information

·         Communicate with associates and hiring managers to accurately schedule interviews

·         Manage associates’ performance in conjunction with client company supervisors; troubleshoot and resolve client and associate issues

·         Conduct routine inside sales calls to increase sales

 

Staffing Specialist (Recruiter) Skills Required:

 

·         Quick learner with the ability to multi-task with constantly changing information

·         Familiarity with business procedures and standard office operations

·         Strong sales and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Self-motivation and a sense of urgency to get the job done right and meet deadlines

·         Strong computer skills: PC environment, MS Word/Excel, ability to quickly learn proprietary/online database software
