About the role

The person in this position will work on-site to assist with day-to-day operations, including supporting marketing efforts related to events and membership, and general administrative tasks.  

Duties:

  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide overall administrative support to all staff
  • Market and provide in-person support to EDCO events utilizing platforms/media like Eventbrite, Hopin, Constant Contact, Canva, radio, marketing calendars, YouTube, etc.
  • Develop and proof content, which will be used to update EDCO websites with relevant content and digital art, including blog posts and social media posts
  • Provide electronic and written communications to the Board of Directors, meeting notices, minutes, and packets
  • Other administrative duties:  Office supply inventory, shopping, stocking, printing name tags, sorting and sending mail, and others, as assigned
  • Work with the Director of Membership to maintain an accurate membership database (processing new members, removing former members from all platforms, etc.). Work with the Director of Events to support event logistics (venue/vendor contracts and logistics, seating charts, name tags, set-up, attendee correspondence, check-in, etc.).

  • Grammar and proofreading
