Schedule: Mon-Fri

Payrate: $20.00/HR

Description:

• The candidate must be a team player who can work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work Mon-Fri, and sometimes Saturdays if need be.
• Our projects consist of, but are not limited to: job site preparation which includes setting up, digging, grading and backfilling areas.
• Working with concrete and shoveling gravel.

(These are skills/duties that may require training and/or on the job experience. We will provide the necessary education.)

 

• · Ability to use a compactor
• · Grade Checking: Accurate measurement of slope and elevation levels is achieved using specialized tools and instruments.
• · Install and maintain erosion control measures, such as silt fencing or sediment traps, to prevent environmental damage during excavation activities.
• · Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and into appropriate job site locations, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• · Assist in the placement and removal of underground utilities and piping, carefully exposing existing utilities without causing damage.
• · Perform site clean-up tasks, including removing debris, excess dirt, and other materials to keep the work area safe and organized.
• · Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new safety protocols, equipment operation guidelines, and hazard recognition.
• · Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety gear, trenching standards, and emergency response procedures is critical for minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries on the excavation site. Laborers must strictly adhere to these protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel.
