Salary: $19-22/hour

A local, Eagan company is searching for a Prepress Technician/Customer Service Representative. This role is responsible for preparing graphic files submitted by designers and clients to be output on multiple print devices. Additional duties would include providing customer service to existing customers by processing jobs and communicating any order changes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform checks for required fonts, colors, sizing, resolution and other needed components to ensure completeness prior to submitting to printer.
• Format, color correct and manipulate files according to client specifications.
• Setup of files including enlargements, composing and processing of files prior to forwarding to various printers.
• Communicate with customers by phone, email or in person about printing requirements, job status, estimates, orders, changes, shipping confirmation and complaints.
• Coordinate and prepare quotes for the customer.
• Process jobs and orders following customer specifications.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure production goals and shipping dates are met.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of design/layout/image/color editing software is essential, specifically: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of the overall printing process and print file preparation.
• Ability to address and troubleshoot file issues.
• Detail oriented Prepress or Large Format printing experience a plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
