Maintenance Mechanic opportunity is available now for one of our employers of choice clients in the Mississauga area.  If you have 4+ years of experience working in an industrial environment setting, this role could be for you. 

 

What Does the Company Offer:

• If you have a Maintenance A Certificate (uncertified): $38.41 per hour
• Certified Industrial Mechanic/Millwright (Inter-provincial Red Seal): $41.57 per hour (Depending on experience)
• Rotating 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. Overtime as required.

What’s Responsibilities of the Role:

• Perform electrical repairs and through maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, pumps, mixers and motors.
• Interpreting and reading blueprints & drawings to troubleshoot the machinery, maintenance equipment.
• Inspecting & Maintaining material handling equipment like Overhead Cranes, forklifts, front end loader trucks etc.
• Other duties assigned by the Plant Supervisor

 

Qualification For the Role:

• Maintenance A Certificate (uncertified) or Certified Industrial Mechanic/Millwright
• Minimum 4 years of experience working within an industrial environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
• Able to work in different environments; hot, cold, dirty, dusty, wet or noisy
• Mathematical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill
• Must be available to work full-time hours
