Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of boats and marine vehicles. Your duties will include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine inspections, and executing both minor and major repairs. You will work with various marine systems, including engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, and steering mechanisms. Your expertise will ensure that all marine vehicles are in top operating condition, ready for safe and efficient use on the water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with boats and marine vehicles.
• Perform routine inspections and execute both minor and major repairs on various marine systems.
• Work with engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, and steering mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a marine mechanic with a strong understanding of marine technology.
• Ability to diagnose and repair various mechanical issues with boats and marine vehicles.
• Proficiency in working with engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, and steering mechanisms.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to marine vehicles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
