We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician specializing in irrigation systems, with a focus on center pivot irrigation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. This role requires working in Hereford and surrounding areas, ensuring that our customers' irrigation systems are functioning efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair center pivot irrigation systems and other types of irrigation systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with irrigation equipment, including pumps, valves, and electrical components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Travel to various job sites in Hereford and surrounding areas as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with center pivot irrigation systems is essential.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Candidate must provide their own tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in irrigation system maintenance or relevant technical training.
• Experience working in agricultural settings.
• Knowledge of local regulations related to irrigation systems.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am – Finish with half day Saturday during peak season

Pay: $18 + depending on experience
