Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham has partnered with a company to help with their staffing needs to help hire dedicated and skilled individuals for a leading manufacturing company in Burlington, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling products, operating machinery, testing electrical components, cleaning finished products, loading raw materials,  ensuring quality control throughout the production process, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, dependable, continuous learning focused,  and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

 

Pay: $21-$24.25 /HR with increases every three months for the 1st year!!

Position Type: Evaluation 
Location: Burlington, WA

Shifts: 6 am - 6 pm or 6 pm - 6 am with a rotating schedule.

   * Your initial shift will vary for training *

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:             

•  Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position.
• Clean and prepare workstations and machines.
• Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements, soldering experience is an asset.
• Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems.
• Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.
• Check final assembly for the finish, labeling, and packaging methods.
• Ensure profitable business operations.
• Complete other tasks as required and/or directed.
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures and related labor laws.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish between colors.
• Intermediate computer literacy; ability to analyze and interpret data read-outs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, leads, coworkers, etc.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic issues with machinery/position.
• Soldering experience is an asset
