Express Employment in Platteville has partnered with a local business in SHULLSBURG, WI to search for a candidate to support their business in a PRODUCTION OPERATOR role. This is a full-time position.

Job Title: Production Operator 2nd Shift

Pay: $20.22 per hour, plus $1 shift differential

Hours: 4:00 PM- 12:00 AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Following established production standards, performs all functions of the manufacturing process.
• Inspect all equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Follow operational procedures and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) quality control, cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Ensure accurate counts and weights on production are recorded.
• Report any non-compliant, defective, or sub-standard product immediately to Packaging Leader.
• Assist with clean-up and sanitation responsibilities.
• Assist in any other areas of the manufacturing plant when necessary.
• Assist Production Leader in training new employees for job specific tasks in the production area.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions in the English language.
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Must demonstrate basic math skills to calculate production yields and understand weights and measures.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.

Preferred:

• Previous related experience in food and/or manufacturing industry.
