Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician specializing in 18-wheeler trucks to join our team. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing tires on a wide range of commercial trucks. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair tire-related issues on 18-wheeler trucks.
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotating on commercial trucks.
• Conduct routine tire maintenance, including checking air pressure, tread depth, and tire condition.
• Respond to emergency tire service calls on the road.
• Ensure all work is completed to safety standards and in compliance with company policies.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory management of tires and related supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers and other team members.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably with experience working on 18-wheelers or other commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of tire repair techniques, tools, and equipment specific to heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
