Job Summary:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The successful candidate will work closely with our finance team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly
• Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings
• Monitor and track company expenses and budgets
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data
• Handle general administrative tasks related to financial operations

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
