A manufacturing company located in Mt. Prospect, IL is looking for an AR Specialist to join their team. This is a temp to hire opportunity, M-F, 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

• Post customer payments and any cash receipts daily
• Review, create and post billing invoices for revenue
• Communicate internally as well as directly with customers to resolve any AR issues
• Evaluate credit limits for customers
• Maintain sales exemption certificate, resale certificate, and apply accurate sales tax
• File sales tax returns monthly, quarter, or annually
• Process reconciliation, cash application, chargebacks, and write-offs with management approval
• Assis in monthly/yearly end closings

Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher (Accounting preferred)
• Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks is plus
• 3+ years of experience in AR and billing.
• Ability to manage details, appreciate complexity, and engage in problem solving.
• Proficient in Excel and Adobe
