Law firm located in Flowood, MS is seeking a Paralegal to join their team! This position is meant to be full time, but can be flexible with hours, if need be.

 

*Position does NOT require a certification

**Ideal candidate needs criminal law experience.

 

General Duties

 

• Research, prepare, and review legal information pertaining to court cases,
  judicial decisions, appropriate laws, legal articles, and other materials
  relevant to court cases
• Draft contracts, leases, agreements, and other documents
• Gather records, files, and written reports. Retain files and prepared legal
  documents
• Interview potential witnesses, draft arguments and statements, and prepare
  affidavits
• Write motions, statements, and pleadings
• Respond to interrogations and coordinate counsel requests
• Assist attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, hearing, and closing
