Quality Control Inspector: $20 + / hour

Quality Control Inspector Job Description:

• Read and interpret specifications and part prints.
  • Perform accurate mechanical, physical and visual inspection of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies in accordance with Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements.
  • File all Quality Assurance article/material history records.
  • Perform first article inspections to support article qualification processes.
  • Communicate requirements for various documentation to suppliers.
  • Initiate Non-Conformance reports (Material Rejection Notices) as required.
  • Document and report inspection findings and results and monitor corrective actions to those findings.
  • Upload and review information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs.
  • Conduct various tests and quality checks on finished articles. Ensure that all products have been tested and fall within standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances, readability of labels, etc.
  • Conduct in-coming, in-process, and final inspections of AFP procured or manufactured products and processes.
  • Prepare registered articles for presentation to Defense Logistics Agency designees.
  • Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection issues. Communicate with project engineers to ensure articles and processes are in compliance with the final product.

Experience Required:

• 3-5 Years Experience in Related Field in Aerospace, Automotive, Construction, Or Medical Appliances
