Our client is a servicing company catering to several private lender customers. They specialize in turnkey servicing, covering everything from origination and servicing to draw management. Their mission is to streamline operations and help hard money and private lenders scale their businesses efficiently. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Insurance Specialist to support our front-end operations and renewals. This role is critical in ensuring that our clients receive optimal coverage and seamless service. Responsibilities:

• In-depth Knowledge:
• Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance terminology, coding, rules, exclusions, and government programs such as FEMA and Texas Windstorm.
• Demonstrate expertise in property insurance for both commercial and residential investments.
• Experience:
• Possess at least 5 years of experience in the property insurance industry.
• A licensed insurance agent is preferred not necessary.
• Experience in private money lending is highly desirable.
• Resilience:
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Learn from mistakes and enhance performance through continuous improvement.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Utilize insurance CRM software and platforms for managing binders, payments, and renewals.
• Urgency and Organization:
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills and handle confrontations professionally.
• Communication:
• Maintain strong follow-up, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage daily interactions with borrowers, portfolio managers, loan processors, loan officers (LOs), and other insurance agents.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the property insurance industry
• Must be able to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish
• Licensed insurance agent preferred
• Experience in private money lending is highly desirable
• Proficiency in insurance CRM software and platforms
• Strong sense of urgency and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and learn from mistakes
