E-Commerce Analyst

Salary: $72k-$120k DOE

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ecommerce Analyst to oversee and optimize our online sales operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large amounts of data, a strong proficiency in Excel, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record in handling a significant number of SKUs (2500 to 3000) with 3 to 5 years of experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to drive and manage day-to-day Amazon seller central operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ecommerce Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of our ecommerce platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience.
    • Manage and maintain the online product catalog, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information, pricing, and availability for 2500 to 3000 SKUs.
  • Data Management and Analysis:
    • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Generate and interpret sales reports, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators to inform strategic decisions.
  • Sales and Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize overstock or stockouts.
    • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies, including forecasting, replenishment, and clearance planning.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Ensure all product listings are accurate, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines.
    • Conduct regular audits of the ecommerce site to identify and rectify any discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align ecommerce initiatives with overall business goals.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide insights, updates, and recommendations.
  • Basic Accounting:
    • Apply basic accounting principles to manage and reconcile inventory records.
    • Assist with budgeting and financial planning related to ecommerce operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Ecommerce Analyst or similar role, with at least 3-5 years of experience managing an online store with 2500 to 3000 SKUs.
  • Experience working  with ERP systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (Pivot, Vlookup, Sumif, Countif, Concatenate, Index match, conditional formatting, If-error. etc) and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and inventory management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
