Salary: $25.00 AN HOUR

Express Employment Professionals of Downey is currently seeking a FLOOR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR for a well-established steel product manufacturer in Huntington Park, CA.

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM

PAY: $25.00 an hour

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: long-term (temp to permanent hire)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a floor supervisor in heavy manufacturing environment REQUIRED
• Must be able to withstand physically demanding tasks (consistently heavy lifting - up to 50 pounds)
• Able to delegate tasks
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to operate with a high sense of urgency
• Strong time management
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Maintain oversight of the production pipeline, the ongoing process while being mindful of delays and ensuring the timely completion of customer jobs per the job order specifications
• Address customer inquiries/concerns relating to progress, delays, corrections and timely delivery of the finished product
• Keep track of inbound and on-hand material inventory to ensure the necessary quantities are available in an effort to minimize any production delays
• Other tasks as needed
