Customer Service Representative (CSR) - Job Description

 

 

We are actively seeking professional Customer Service Representatives for one of our clients. CSRs will play a pivotal role in assisting small business owners and members in growing their businesses through phone and online support. Candidates with experience from independent pack and ship stores, UPS stores, FedEx Office, or similar packaging and shipping service businesses are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

Pay: $18.00 per hour

 

 

Requirements:

  • bilingual proficiency is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to learn and operate a multi-line phone system and custom-designed Customer Relationship Management software (training provided).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with members.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
  • Positive and professional demeanor.

Schedule: Office hours are 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. 

  • No weekends except during the Expo Event, held approximately every 18 months:
  • Accommodations provided during the event.
  • Onsite stay required from Tuesday to Sunday midday due to extended working hours. (only during event) 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle member inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Provide detailed information about our products and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate customer records based on interactions.
  • Develop and update knowledge base on our evolving products and services.
  • Present and promote new programs and opportunities to members.
  • Guide members on business strategies, profit models, and new products.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or related fields preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education a plus.

 

Additional Information:
This is an in-person position and not remote. Candidates must be able to work on-site.
