Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Quality Control Technician you will be responsible to ensure product products meet all required by local industry, customers and company specifications as instructed by Plant Manager. 

Responsibilities:
•    Oversee all concrete testing on required designs and ensure they are properly documented and reported
•    Record and maintain records of all required quality control documents 
•    Inspect raw materials and fresh concrete while batching and after testing to confirm concrete qualities meet the finished product specification and Plant Manager’s expectations 
•    Operate and maintain all quality equipment according to manuals instructed by the QC Manager 
•    Perform random inspection and documentation of wire cage fabrication
•    Perform inspection of loads leaving plant to meet accuracy and quality criteria 
•    Hold monthly quality control training meetings and maintain personnel training records
•    Work closely with different managers, leads and crews 
•    Performs special projects or assignments as directed 

Qualifications:
•    Two- year technical degree preferred
•    Operation and adjustment knowledge of all batching and concrete production
•    Ability to read and understand production drawings and engineered prints 
•    Verbal and written communication skills understandable by the crew and the plant supervision
•    Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical malfunctions and make adjustments and/or basic repairs to equipment to produce concrete that meet specifications 
•    Mathematical ability to calculate mixing portions and quality required for product completion  
•    Proficiency with Microsoft  Word, Outlook and Excel
•    ACI Certification of ability to obtain within 1 year 
•    PCI Level 2 or ability to obtain within 1 year 

Schedule: 
Monday – Friday 
Day Shift 

Pay: 
$20.00 - $25.00/hr + DOE
