CDL Class A Driver - $18/hr - $26/hr DOE

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CDL Driver - Entry-Level Scale Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and new installations of scale systems. This position requires the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs., work outside, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. NO OVER-THE-ROAD DUTIES.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on scale systems.
• Repair and troubleshoot scale breakdowns using tools such as multi-meters and simulators to check ohms, voltage, and resistance.
• Install various types of scales, including rail, truck, floor, and balance scales.
• Adjust and calibrate all types of mechanical scales.
• Handle calibration of weighing equipment using weights of 50 lbs. or more.
• Complete large amounts of detailed paperwork accurately and promptly.

 Requirements:

• CDL Driver’s License with clean MVR
• Must pass a graded background check and drug testing (hair, oral fluid, urine, and breath alcohol).
• Electrical experience.
• Instrumentation experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions.
