Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (must be available for weekends)

Compensation: $20 per hour (averaging 50-65 hours per week)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Custodian Manager to oversee our custodial team and ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards. The Custodian Manager will be responsible for supervising 12-13 custodial staff members, managing work orders, performing various cleaning tasks, and setting up for events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and be proficient in using the Microsoft platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of 12-13 custodial staff.
• Oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring all areas are maintained to high standards.
• Manage and assign work orders for maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Perform cleaning duties including stripping and waxing floors, changing ceiling tiles, and general upkeep.
• Set up and prepare facilities for events and special occasions.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Train and mentor custodial staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a custodial or cleaning role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft platform (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
