Express Employment Professionals in Albertville has an immediate need for a Quality Control Inspector. We are looking for 2nd shift and weekend shift candidates. Second shift hours are 4:30pm - 3:00 am M-Th. Weekend shift is Friday/Sat/Sun 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (4-hour bonus paid IF all 36 hours are met).  Pay rate is $20 - $30/hr. This is a temp to hire opportunity with excellent benefits!

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections on components.
• Perform dimensional inspections on components using precision measuring equipment.
• Interpret and use complex mechanical drawings for inspection.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports.
• Assure measuring equipment is maintained in good condition and properly stored.
• Setup, adjust, and check measuring equipment.
• Maintain the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Applicants must be detail oriented.
• Previous experience working for a quality department is preferred.
• Previous experience working in a machine shop environment is preferred
• Proficient with mechanical measurement tools, such as: micrometers, calipers, gages, indicators, etc.
• Ability to comprehend mechanical drawings.
