We are hiring manufacturing technicians for our client in Jefferson, PA. The basic function of this position is to fabricate an in-tolerance finished conveyor belt. 

 

 

Pay rate is $16.47 per hour.

 

These are Evaluation Hire positions that lead to permanent employment with regular performance evaluations and opportunities for pay increases. The client also offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Prior machine operator experience
• Ability to read and comprehend shop orders and working drawings
• Experience using hand tools to read and interpret tape measures, calipers, and scales
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions, decimals, and metric system
• Must have a consistent work history and good attendance record

Duties:

• Complete shop orders to specification
• Complete assigned work without errors to quality standards, as well as specifications
• Perform regular housekeeping of the work station assigned
• Clarify unusual or uncommon fabrication instructions
• Provide assistance as required
• Other duties as assigned
