Machine Operator II

Located in Grand Rapids, MI

Salary: $20.30/HR+, BOE +.40 Premium

Machine Operator II Job Summary: A locally recognized and growing company within the RFID Manufacturing Industry is looking for a few Technical Machine Operators to join their personalization team! These individuals will be responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of technical production equipment. 

 

Machine Operator II Responsibilities:

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain RFID converting and printing machines
• Monitors machine to ensure efficient production per customer order
• Responsible for startup and shut down of assigned production machine
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate machine operating difficulties
• Complete required paperwork and checklists as required

Schedule & Pay:

• 2nd Shift 3:00PM - 1:30AM Monday to Thursday, with overtime as desired
• $20.30/HR+, BOE + $.40 premium on 2nd Shift

Machine Operator II Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of technical machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanically inclined
• Likes to troubleshoot, learn, understand how/why things work
• Very comfortable with computer software and technology
• Comfortable measuring to 16th of an inch
• High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable, positive attitude, self-motivated, comfortable working independently
