Express Employment Professionals Dayton South is now hiring an Account Payable associate in Miamisburg, OH from $40,000-$44,000/per year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
2. Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
3. Enter invoices for payment and manage the weekly check run.
4. Research invoices as needed.
5. Work with receiving clerk to ensure all material is received.
6. Maintain listing of accounts payable and vendor relations.
7. Actively involved in Month-end closing.
8. Monthly reconciliation of the company credit cards.
9. Review job cost sheet to ensure all materials and production hours are included.
10. Compare actual costs to estimates and analyze variances.
11. Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing budget costs to actual production costs; this includes product margin reporting and analytics.
12. Work with department heads on missing information. (Material and timesheets).
Position Requirements:
* High School Diploma. Associate's degree in business preferred.
- Strong PC computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. (Windows XP).
- Minimum 3 years accounts payable/accounting experience.
- Experience in organizing and establishing priorities.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
