Part Time Direct Support Professionals

Salary: $15.85-$16.85

Direct Support Professionals Job Summary:

If you love to help others and are looking for a rewarding career, we have an opportunity for you! A well-established faith-based organization in the Grand Rapids, MI area is looking to add several Direct Support Professionals to their growing direct care team.

Direct Support Professionals Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care, protection, and supervision to assigned residents
• Assisting with meal preparation and serving
• Following appropriate medical regimes
• Providing transportation to activities and appointments
• Assisting with light cleaning and housework
• Spending quality time with our residents to assure they feel appreciated and cared for
• Documenting progress notes, maintenance logs and other records as needed

Schedule & Pay: 

• Part Time 1st shift 7am-3pm and every other weekend
• $15.85-$16.85/hour

Direct Support Professionals Qualifications:

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work various shifts plus some weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be a team player but also able to work alone when needed
• CNA a plus but not required 
• Ability to complete provided job training
• Ability to remain calm in an emergency
