Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for an experienced CNC Operator with a fabrication / manufacturing company in the  located in the West Columbia, SC area. This position will offer full time, long term opportunity with compensation starting at $20.00 - $24.00 hourly and hours of Monday – Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm and healthcare benefits.

This position will include:
-Program, set-up, run and edit CNC Lathes & Mills, along with a variety of other machines
-Able to produce results in a job shop setting
-Read drawings/blueprints and prove out parts from beginning to end independently
-Check parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, go/no-go gauges to hold tolerances according to blueprints.
-MUST be able to work independently. Problem solving skills. Interact with customers.
-Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software a strong plus.

Candidates must:

-Have 5+ years experience in set up and operation of Mill and Lathe CNC machines

-Read blueprints

-Working knowledge of MS Office
