Monday – Friday 3PM – 12:30AM / Monday – Thursday 2:30PM – 11:00PM (off every other Friday)

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, hobs, hones, burnishers, or balancers. Your primary duties will include interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine the configuration of cuts and operational sequences. You will utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet exact specifications and make adjustments as necessary. Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Your role requires a keen attention to detail, proficiency in CNC programming, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC machines according to job specifications and ensure all necessary materials are loaded correctly.
• Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding, or honing of parts.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure parts are produced within tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to verify conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all company safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Document production activities, including job setups, tool changes, and inspection results.
