Irrigation Technician

Salary: 22.00

Express Employment is partnering with a landscaping company in Ybor for an Irrigation Technician. 

 

Pay: $20-22/hr

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Safely operate a company vehicle to and from job sites.

· Adhere to company safety standards, including the use of traffic control devices and      personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Safely use a wide variety of tools and equipment for installation, repair, adjustment, and enhancement of residential and commercial irrigation systems.

· Perform inspections on various irrigation system components and complete field reports.

· Accurately document time and materials used to complete assigned work.

· Gather information for estimates on system improvements needed and create irrigation maps.

· Communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors, team members, and customers.

 

Requirements:

· At least two years of work experience in residential or commercial irrigation.

· Valid driver''s license and acceptable driving record.

· Time management skills and availability for seasonal hours (weekends and extended days).

· Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, knowledge, and skill levels.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

 

Preferred:

· Good aptitude with smartphones and mobile applications.

· Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting two-wire decoder-based irrigation systems.

· Knowledge and experience in using electrical troubleshooting tools.

 

Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 7:00AM-4:00PM
