As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

Duties:

• Follow a checklist of inspection procedures.
• Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles.
• Read and interpret diagnostic test results from diagnostic equipment such as an oscilloscope, which is used to measure the voltage produced by electronic components.
• Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
• Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts.
• Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws and attach system components.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Test-Drive vehicles to ensure that they run smoothly.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in automotive diagnostics and diesel engine repair
• Proficient in mechanical knowledge and using hand tools
• Experience in vehicle maintenance, including transmissions and air brake systems
• Knowledge of alignment, hydraulics, suspension, and HVAC systems
• Preferred experience with heavy equipment operation and dealership experience
• Ability to perform fabrication, work with schematics, and operate industrial equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting tasks
• Certification or experience in welding, tire service, and soldering techniques
