Health claims company in Ft Worth is needing an Appeals Representative to join their team!

 

The Appeals Representative is responsible for addressing provider inquiries and appeals via email, fax, telephone, or written correspondence ensuring adherence to client policy, industry standards along with CMS and state guidelines as well as client instructions

 

Appeals Representative Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9a-6p

 

Appeals Representative Pay: $16/hr

 

Appeals Representative Job Duties: 

• Reviews, analyzes, and completes appeals in accordance with client policy, CMS guidelines and industry standards in clear and professional written communication
• Ability to interpret provider appeals and apply analytical thinking skills
• Ability to interpret client policy and CMS guidelines as it relates to reviews done by the company

 

Appeals Representative Job Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as an appeals representative
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Need to know about payer policies, fee schedules, contracts, and provider appeals
• Need to know how to merge documents with a TIF combiner
• Facility, healthcare or hospital background
