Maintenance Technician $25/HR

Located in Appleton, WI

Salary: $25/HR

Hours: Monday-Friday 4pm-12am

 *during training (about 3 months) hours will be 8am-4pm*

Pay: $25/HR

Duties: 

• Troubleshoot processing equipment and supporting equipment to reduce defects and downtime, ensuring efficient operation.
• Analyze problems to determine root causes and diagnose repeat breakdowns or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with Plant Management, the Food Safety Supervisor, and Employees to diagnose production equipment issues.
• Request items and materials necessary for assigned project implementation.
• Conduct general diagnosis and perform minor and routine maintenance/cleaning as needed or instructed.
• Report major repairs and needed requisitions to the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and supplies, informing the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor of possible shortages or needs.
• Maintain outside grounds, keeping them neat and free of litter, raking, sweeping, and shoveling as needed.
• Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties as instructed.
• Install and repair electrical apparatuses such as control components, wires, etc., to set up or repair equipment.
• Install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to ensure facility and equipment run efficiently and safely.
• Build and fabricate special mechanical parts and devices to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Communicate equipment and building issues that occurred during the shift via email to the Maintenance Manager, Supervisor, and other technicians before the end of the shift.

Qualifications: 

• 3-5 years prior experience unless fresh out of a tech school program for maintenance related courses.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
