Express is looking for 1^st Shift Assemblers for a production facility in New Bern, NC.

Work Schedule: Full time, Mon-Sat, 6am to 4pm, may run shifts up to 12 hours

Responsibilities:

• Align and assemble pieces for wire baskets for appliances in a very fast-paced, repetitive production environment.
• Collect all material and equipment needed to meet daily production needs.
• Ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product.
• Maintain all equipment in good condition.
• Report on any production issues or defective parts.

Requirements:

• Must be able to comprehend and follow safety instructions and be able to take directions from a supervisor.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform physically repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet background check requirements-no violent felonies or misdemeanors in the last 7 years.
• Strong attention to detail to follow manuals, drawings, and schematics precisely.
