This position requires you to work from both mechanical and electrical schematics to arrive at standard mechanical and electrical assemblies.  You must be able to perform basic electrical wiring.  Installs PLCs and other electronics.

Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble materials
- Measure and mark materials for accuracy using precision tools such as micrometers
- Weld or join metal components together using various techniques
- Test and inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery or equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

 

Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role as a builder or fabricator is preferred
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different building materials, tools, and equipment
- Experience with welding techniques and metal fabrication
- Familiarity with machining processes and precision measurement tools
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and operate machinery safely
- Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus
