Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local builder specializing in new construction projects and remodels from the ground up. We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join their team in Grants Pass.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced carpenter looking to work on diverse and exciting projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to execute construction plans accurately.
• Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, molding, and cabinetry.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations on all projects.
• Collaborate effectively with other carpenters, tradespeople, and contractors on site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in new construction and remodels.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machines.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
