Maintenance Mechanic

Salary: $20-25/hr

Job Description:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing factory equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment meets safety and operational standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Tools: Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.

Pay Rate: $20-25/hr DOE

 

Schedule: Mon-Fri (some overtime required)
