Manufacturing Bookkeeper/Accountant

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay Rate: $30-40/ Hour BOE

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Medical wholesaler and manufacturer in Santa Ana, CA is looking for a long term committed Bookkeeper/Accountant to add to their team. If you have manufacturing experience, that is a plus! This person will be responsible for the maintenance and analysis of financial records and accounts to ensure they are current, reconciled and accurate for all companies by coordinating with CFO, Accounting and Management of each company.

Responsibilities:

• Perform effective analytical research to identify and mitigate errors.
• Prepare and analyze automated and ad hoc accounting reports.
• Prepare and process journal entries.
• Maintain and Reconcile Bank Accounts for all companies.
• Maintain and reconcile Credit Card transactions.
• Provide accounting analysis, expertise and guidance to management as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Sage100 ERP Experience
• 5 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting field. Preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Strong understanding of GL transactions
• Computer literate and familiar with ERP accounting systems. Experience using Microsoft applications (IE: Excel, Word)
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
