We're looking for individuals with a minimum of one year of related press brake experience and experience within a custom fabrication shop is preferred.

 

Schedule: 1st shift, Full time

• 6am - 3pm or 4pm Monday - Thursday, 6am to 2pm Friday

Pay: $25.43 - $31.77, based on experience

• Level 1, 2, 3 positions available
• Level 2 typical pay range $27.48-$29.56

 

Press Brake Operator Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal parts using a press brake machine. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and operate various tools and equipment.

 

Press Brake Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, fold, or straighten sheet metal
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
- Load and unload materials onto the machine using cranes or forklifts
- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machine
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow of the warehouse
- Assemble fabricated parts using hand tools as required
- Utilize plasma cutting equipment when necessary

 

Press Brake Operator Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes
- Familiarity with operating cranes and forklifts for material handling
- Ability to use hand tools such as drills, grinders, and saws
- Basic understanding of lathe operations is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
