Legal Secretary

Located in Morgantown, WV

Salary: $15/hr

A law office in Morgantown is looking for a part-time secretary to join their team! This position offers a flexible schedule between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday and compensation starting at $15/hr.

 

Duties to Include:

• Answering phones and directing calls appropriately
• Dropping off paperwork to the courthouse (1 street up)
• Handling mail, both incoming and outgoing
• Preparing legal documents as directed
• Filing documents and maintaining organized filing systems
• Utilizing computer skills for tasks such as using Share Drive, Microsoft Office, and learning electronic filing systems
• Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding client matters

Qualified Candidates should:

• Good personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software systems
• Must be reliable and able to work independently
• Previous experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required
