Medical Assistant - CNA or CMA

Salary: $19/hr to $20/hr

A busy pediatric medical practice in Asheville is looking for a compassionate, quality focused, and fast acting Medical Assistant.

 

The selected candidate will be either a CNA or CMA. If a CNA, willing to sit and pass the CMA exam within the first year of employment.

 

Job duties include but are not limited to:

 

• Prepare for patient visits
• Take and record vital signs
• Obtain and record past medical history, review milestones, and address concerns during well visits
• Administer vaccinations and medications ordered by the physician
• Collect and process specimens, manage diagnostic tests
• Maintain and update patient records (allergy, medication, family history, etc.)

 

The selected person will have:

 

• 1 year of medical office setting experience
• CNA or CMA active certification
• Preferred pediatric experience

 

The manager and team are fast paced, friendly, dynamic and hardworking. This is a low drama office and team members rarely miss work.

 

Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Rotating weekends (Saturday & Sunday, 8am-12pm, with days off the week before and after)
