Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Band Saw Operator to join our team. The Band Saw Operator will be responsible for operating both horizontal and vertical band saw machines to cut various materials according to specified dimensions and requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of safety protocols, machine operation, and material properties to ensure accurate and efficient cutting operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Band Saw Operator or similar role, preferably with experience in both horizontal and vertical band saw operations.
• Knowledge of different types of materials and their cutting properties.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in cutting materials to specified dimensions.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and operate machinery for extended periods.
• Basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools accurately.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or certification in machine operation or related field preferred.

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Schedule: Mon-Friday (some overtime required)
