Community Manager

 

 

Candidates must be detail-oriented and hard-working. A positive attitude with a smile is a must. Our residents are our focus, and our Community Managers are expected to provide excellent customer service and work with management to ensure the smooth operation of the property.

 

The Community Manager is responsible for showing and leasing apartments to maintain an occupancy level of a minimum of 95%. They will oversee and adhere to the annual budget, and prepare renewal and recertification paperwork. They will supervise a small staff, and work with co-workers to provide a smoothly operated and well-maintained property.

• Tour and lease apartments and community to prospective residents.
• Communicate with prospective and current residents, staff personnel, supervisors, owners, etc.
• Daily data entry into Yardi and multiple other computer programs.
• Prepare and submit required weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports accurately and on time.
• Complete lease renewals and annual recertifications on time including preparation of all paperwork, maintaining compliance with company and government procedures.
• Walk vacant apartments within 24 Hours of move-out, turn completion, and move-in to ensure quality control.
• Supervise site staff, property activities, and daily operations.

• General knowledge of tax credit procedures and paperwork.
• Strong level of customer service, attention to detail, organization, competition, and follow-through to completion.
• Ability to handle a high volume of work and meet weekly and monthly goals and expectations.
• Strong marketing ability and ideas.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to create a positive work environment.

Pay: $22-$28/hr
