Responsibilities:

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring efficient part production by keeping machinery running, optimizing process time, and reducing raw material consumption (reduce scrap).
• Troubleshooting programs and machine malfunctions on a daily basis.
• Determining proper processes to manufacture a part and writing CNC machine programs from 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Managing program revisions and ensuring only the latest versions are in use in the machine shop.
• Maintaining machines and tooling in good condition to ensure steady, stable production meets quality levels and productivity targets.
• Collaborating with the Maintenance Specialist to develop maintenance schedules.
• Researching new equipment and staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive part and product electronic database, including 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and bill of materials.
• Educating and training machinists and other personnel on CNC programming techniques.
