This construction company is listed as a National and Local Best Place to work and they are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join their Oahu team. The Construction Manager oversees the managerial direction of multiple projects where technical complexity is at the highest and client/owner relationships are of utmost importance.

 

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture required
• Minimum 10-15 years constructions experience with 3-5 years management experience
• Professional Engineering or Architecture license required
• CCM certifications preferred
• DOT-Highways experience required
• Knowledge of the entire construction process including cost estimating

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage processing of Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and Change Orders
• Review Project Inspector Daily Reports and project photos
• Review project documents including plans and specifications
• Prepare and write up weekly and monthly reports
• Hires, directs and motivates supervisory personnel, subcontractors and staff engaged in planning and executing work procedures
• Assists the manager in maintaining and overseeing service contracts, negotiates new contracts, or terminate existing ones as required.
• Reviews and approves all invoices in the construction department and submits all approved bills to the accounting department for processing and payment

 

Salary: Up to $120k/year (DOE)
