Assistant Project Manager / Carpenter

A Property Restoration company in Ann Arbor is looking for a Assistant Project Manager / Carpenter. The ideal candidate conducts site inspections, coordinates with vendors, assists project managers, performs demolition and construction tasks, and is available for on-call duties one week per month.

What you’ll be doing as an Assistant Project Manager / Carpenter

•  Conduct job site inspections and coordinate with vendors for materials and licenses.
• Assist the project manager to ensure smooth project completion.
• Perform demolition, drywall installation/repair, and framing tasks.
• Install new subfloors and floor joists.
• Be on call one week per month for after-hours jobs (extra $50 per job).

What you’ll need to succeed as an Assistant Project Manager / Carpenter

• 2+ years of experience as a building maintenance or construction lead/supervisor
• 2+ years of experience with Carpentry, drywall, painting, light electrical, light plumbing, light HVAC, tile, hardwood, carpeting
• High School or equivalent

• Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
